Lion Cub

Lion cubs are born blind – their eyes open around seven days after birth. They weigh 2.6–4.6 lbs at birth and are almost helpless, beginning to crawl a day or two after birth and walking around three weeks of age.

Lion cubs are without the dark, hairy tuft at the end of the tail. It develops around 5 1/2 months of age.
