I have worked for The Wooden Horse off and on for 12 years. Currently I am the bookkeeper for the store, though over the years I have done everything from folding and mailing the newsletters to purchasing for the book section. I am also in charge of the Annual Spooky Story Contest.

This job has given me the opportunity to travel quite a bit. Every year I get to go to the New York International Toy Show in February to see all the latest and greatest toys The best part about buying is getting to see all of the new toys and books while they are still in their sample edition. I've also gone to shows in San Francisco, Oakland, Pomona, Las Vegas, and Baltimore.

My favorite section is the book section. My second favorite is the game section. My three favorite items-? In the store-? The customers, the staff, and the products, of course!

Some of my favorite books are: The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, the Inkworld series by Cornelia Funke and The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere as illustrated by Christopher Bing.

Some of my favorite games are Doodle Dice, Sequence-States and Capitals Edition, the math game Tivitz and You've Been Sentenced.
