At The Wooden Horse, your credit card is not billed until your order is shipped, so we can verify that the item is indeed in stock. Continental U.S. orders generally ship same day on in-stock orders received before 3:00 p.m. PST weekdays. Saturday and Sunday are not considered business days.

Shipping & Tax Charges

Orders placed for shipment within the 48 continental United States are shipped via UPS. Express shipping is available at an additional cost for all items. Exact shipping rates are calculated during checkout. APOs/FPOs, Hawaii, and Alaska orders will be shipped via United States Postal Service. We DO NOT ship to International destinations at this time. Sales tax will be charged on shipments to California addresses only.

Order Status

While we take great pride in our ability to ship your purchases quickly, we understand the importance of knowing when it will actually arrive. As you complete the order process, we attempt to give you an accurate estimate of when your order will be delivered. As soon as your order is shipped, we will send you an email containing a UPS tracking number. With this number, you can find out the exact status of your shipment 24 hours a day here.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Exceptions include custom made items and some products shipped direct from the manufacturer. Sales tax is charged only on shipments made in California.

Gift Wrapping

The Wooden Horse has always offered gift wrapping at no charge. If gift wrapping is available for an item, the option to select it will be visible in the check-out process. We have gift wrap for all occasions, as well as for birthdays (boys or girls), Christmas, and Hannukah.
